Snow Service Advisory - Week of February 3

Snow is forecast to fall across parts of Kitsap County on Sunday evening, with temperatures falling below freezing. On Monday light snow may linger, while winds are expected to increase over Puget Sound. Forecasters also expect snow to fall on Thursday.

Kitsap Transit encourages riders to take precautions and be prepared in case the weather gets worse:

  • If your stop is on a hill, please walk to a stop on flat ground.
  • Give yourself plenty of time to get to the bus stop in the snow. Your bus stop may be late during inclement weather, so dress warmly and please be patient.
  • The floor of the bus or ferry may be slippery. Please use caution.
  • Download the DoubleMap mobile app to see the real-time location of your bus or ferry and view the expected time of arrival at your stop.
  • If Kitsap Transit activates its snow-service plan, visit our Snow & Extreme Weather page for the current status of your bus or ferry service and to access snow route maps.
  • In the event of high winds, Kitsap Transit ferries may experience delays.
