KITSAP TRANSIT SMALL WORKS ROSTER

Kitsap Transit is seeking qualified contractors for its Small Works Roster to obtain qualified contractors who are interested in bidding construction, alteration, repair, improvement, and building services work for Kitsap Transit facilities for projects amounting to $300,000 or less.   A contract awarded from the small works roster need not be publicly advertised.

In accordance with RCW 39.04.155 and as authorized by Kitsap Transit’s Board of Commissioners, Kitsap Transit accepts applications from qualified contractors who have requested to be on the list and are properly licensed or registered to perform such work in the State of Washington.  Contractors must meet Kitsap Transit’s minimum qualifications.  All work is subject to prevailing wage.  Costs to file prevailing wage statements with the State of Washington are borne by the Contractor.  All prevailing wage forms must be received by Kitsap Transit before payment(s) can be made. 

Applications are accepted at any time.  Kitsap Transit will advertise the Small Works Roster annually.  To be placed on the roster Contractors shall complete Kitsap Transit’s Enrollment Application.

Title VI Notification to Public

It is the policy of Kitsap Transit to assure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin and sex, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or otherwise be discriminated against under any of its federally funded programs and activities. Any person, who believes his /her Title VI protection has been violated, may file a complaint with Kitsap Transit’s Human Resources department.
