Silverdale Transit Center – Revised Routed Bus Service Changes and Public Hearing – 4/26

Kitsap Transit is making significant changes to its routed bus service this summer with the opening of the new Silverdale Transit Center (STC) on Ridgetop Boulevard. Members of the public have been able to comment on the proposed changes since March 11. The public comment period will remain open until May 6, 2024, at 4:00 PM

After reviewing public feedback, we have revised the proposed route changes:

  • Route 332–Poulsbo/Ridgetop will maintain service on Ridgetop Boulevard, which was planned to be cut in the original proposal. The public strongly opposed removing service from Ridgetop.
  • Added a new route, Route 331–Poulsbo/Myhre, which will travel between STC and the North Viking Transit Center (NVTC) via Myhre Road, Silverdale Way and Viking Way.
  • Maintained Route 333–Silverdale/Bainbridge, which was planned to be cut in the original proposal. The route will depart from the new STC and will not travel Bucklin Hill Road or Randall Way.
  • Route 338–Gateway/Bainbridge Express will remain suspended instead of replacing a section of Route 333.

For a complete list of changes, see our Summer Service Change webpage.

Sunday bus service will begin in Port Orchard, Silverdale and Poulsbo on Sunday, June 16. See our Sunday service page for details.
