Annapolis Dock Float Closed to Public Access

Annapolis Dock Float Closed to Public Access

Effective Immediately

The float at the end of Kitsap Transit’s Annapolis Ferry Dock is permanently closed to the public. The fishing pier at Annapolis is NOT closed and remains open for public access. A locked gate will separate the public part of the dock from the closed part of the dock.

The float is being closed because derelict and improperly moored vessels, garbage and vandalism are impacting ferry operations. It will be closed at all times when Kitsap Transit is not operating Annapolis-Bremerton ferry service.

Kitsap Transit recently completed a project to upgrade the Annapolis Ferry Dock to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. Improvements included installing a longer ramp and pier and constructing a larger float in deeper water.
