Purdy Ride On-Demand Hours of Service

Call 1-844-475-7433 24 hours in advance to schedule a ride if you wish to be picked up inside the service area. To be picked up at the Port Orchard Ferry dock and the Purdy Park & Ride, see the schedule below. See the map for the on-demand service area. You can schedule a ride up to seven days in advance.

Reservation lines are open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, seven days a week.

Areas Served

Port Orchard Ferry Dock, Mullenix Park & Ride, Purdy Park & Ride and a small outlying area south of Sedgwick Road and north of the Purdy Park & Ride off Highway 16 (see map for service area).

Connections

Purdy Ride connects to Kitsap Transit's routed service at the Port Orchard Ferry Dock and Mullenix Park & Ride. At the Purdy Park & Ride, make connections with Pierce Transit and Sound Transit services.

Route Map

Request a 24 hours in advance, hop on the bus at a timed stop or schedule a trip up to seven days in advance. The bus will pick you up at the intersection nearest to your requested pick-up location. Vehicles will not travel down driveways or dead-end streets. Refer to map below for the service area.

On-Demand Pick-Up Service Hours: Service hours are 6:45 AM – 9:45 AM and 3:45 PM – 6:45 PM.

Who can ride?

Purdy Ride is open to anyone but isn’t designed for large groups. If you are making a reservation for more than one person, please notify the reservationist when you call. Kitsap Transit will try its best to meet all requested trips, but cannot guarantee seating for groups.

Fares

• Adult Fare (one-way): $2.00
• Reduced Fare (one-way): $1.00
  • To qualify for a reduced fare, customers must show a valid Medicare Card or a Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP).
• FREE: Anyone aged 18 and under can ride Kitsap Transit services free of charge.

• ORCA card (E-purse)
• Transit GO Ticket app (credit card). Buy a Day Pass for $5 if you plan to ride the Port Orchard Ferry and Routed buses.
