What is Kingston Ride?
Kingston Ride is a shared-ride service that operates within the indicated service area by rider request only. Rides must begin and/or end inside the service area. Your trip may be grouped with other Kingston Ride or ACCESS service trips to the same or nearby destinations.
Where can I go?
Catch the bus to work, shopping, lunch or to visit friends. Travel inside the service area or meet a bus to connect to Suquamish, Indianola, Bainbridge Island and beyond. Kingston Ride will also provide service to the Kingston-Edmonds ferry for those passengers needing transportation across the Sound. The service area encompasses Kingston's commercial center and extends along Highway 104 as far west as Gamblewood and Little Boston, north along Hansville Rd NE, a direct route to The Point Casino, south along Miller Bay Rd to NE West Kingston Rd, and down to Jefferson Point.
Call or click to schedule a ride and the bus will take you to your destination. Riders can schedule to be dropped off or picked up at George's Corner Park & Ride to make connections with Route 307 Kingston/North Viking Fast Ferry Express. The bus will also take passengers directly to the Kingston-Edmonds Ferry to make connections with the Washington State Ferry service to Edmonds. From the Kingston Fery Terminal passangers can take the Kingston Fast Ferry to downtown Seattle, Route 302-Kingston/Suquamish Fast Ferry to the Clearwater Casion and Route 307 Kingston/North Viking Fast Ferry Express to the North Viking Transit Center and Jefferson Transit's #14 Kingston Express to Port Townsend.
The bus will pick you up at the intersection nearest to your requested pick-up location. Vehicles will not travel down driveways or dead-end streets.
How to ride

Call during service hours or use the app to schedule a ride. Your travel time will depend on where you are picked-up and dropped-off and how many other rides have been requested at the same time. Trips are normally completed within an hour of your ride request.
- Use your smartphone or tablet. Download the Rides on Demand app by TripSpark from Google Play (for Android) or the iTunes Store (for iPhone). Create a profile and schedule a ride now or up to seven days in advance. The app will display an estimated pick-up time.
- Call. Call 1.844.475.7433 to schedule a ride now or in advance. Reservation lines are open from 5:00 AM to 6:10 PM Monday through Friday. If you wish to travel at the time you make the call, the dispatcher will arrange the ride and give you an estimated pick-up time. You can also call to schedule a ride up to seven days in advance.
Who can ride?
Kingston Ride is open to anyone, but is not designed to accommodate large groups. If you are making a reservation by phone, please notify the reservationist of the total number of passengers. Kitsap Transit will try its best to meet all requested trips but cannot guarantee seating for groups.
